According to foreign media reports, Morgan Stanley’s research shows that since its launch in April this year, the download volume of Temu applications in the UK has declined for the first time, and the download volume in June decreased by about 1.3 million times. Temu UK now has about 23 million monthly visits, which is similar to Asos. Temu’s website visited about 24 million times in May this year.
Although the study did not explain the specific reasons, it can be guessed that the overall decline in e-commerce sales in the UK is one of the reasons for the collapse of Temu downloads.
According to the latest online retail index released by IMRG, UK e-commerce revenue decreased by 1.2% year-on-year in June, which was negative growth or flat for 26 consecutive months.
Up to now, Temu has entered markets including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
